Crossposting
Crossposting an existing item
Take something already live on one marketplace and copy it to another.
The most common thing you will do: take something already live on one marketplace and put it on another. No re-typing, no re-uploading photos.
Post one item
- Open Crosspost (go).
- Find the item. Filter by marketplace, or search by title or SKU.
- Open it.
- Tick the marketplaces you want to add. The ones it is already on are marked and cannot be double-posted.
- Review each marketplace's panel.
- Press Crosspost.
Review before you submit
The item was imported from a marketplace, and marketplaces expose different amounts of detail. A Vinted import carries less than an eBay one. So the destination panel may be asking for something the source never provided.
Check these, in this order — they cause the most rejections:
- Category. The destination's category is inferred, not copied; there is no shared identifier between marketplaces. Confirm it looks right.
- Size. Frequently absent from imports and required on fashion categories.
- Condition. Confirm the mapped wording reads how you would have written it.
- Price. Fees differ. The same number nets differently on each marketplace.
- Weight and dimensions. Missing packaging data blocks shipping quotes.
Anything you fix on the item — rather than in the marketplace panel — is saved back to the item and improves every future crosspost of it.
Posting to several marketplaces at once
Tick as many as you want. Each becomes an independent job.
They run at a deliberate pace rather than all at once. That pacing exists so a marketplace does not see a burst of listing activity that looks automated; it is not a performance limit to work around.
One failing does not stop the others. You will end up with the successes live and the failure sitting in the queue with a reason attached.
Items already listed by hand
If you posted something directly on a marketplace and Reskale does not know about it, do not crosspost — you will end up with two listings for one item.
Instead, open the item and choose Link existing listing, then pick the listing from that marketplace. This tells Reskale the item is already there.
Linking never creates or edits a listing. It only records the connection — which is what auto-delist needs to pull that listing down when the item sells somewhere else.
Updating a listing that is already live
Editing the item in Reskale does not push the change out. Marketplaces treat edits differently, and some reset a listing's search position when it is revised — silently doing that to every live listing because you fixed a typo would be a bad trade.
Where an update is supported, it is offered explicitly on the listing. See the individual marketplace guides under Marketplaces for what each one allows.
Relisting something that sold
Sold items are not automatically relisted. Where a marketplace supports relisting a sold or ended listing, it appears as an action on that listing.
For an item you have another of, treat it as a new item — its condition, photos and price are its own.
