Getting started

Do I need the browser extension? For Mercari, Depop and Vinted, yes — they have no public API and the extension is the only way to work with them. eBay and Discogs work without it. More.

Which browsers work? Chrome, Brave, Edge, Arc and Opera. Not Safari or Firefox — different extension format. Not mobile browsers, which do not support extensions at all.

Do I have to keep my browser open? For listing and delisting on Mercari, Depop and Vinted, yes — that work runs in your browser. Background sync and all eBay/Discogs work run server-side.

Why do I have to verify a phone number? It is what stops one person creating disposable accounts, which is what gets a tool like this blocked by marketplaces.

Marketplaces

Why is Poshmark not supported? Poshmark suspends seller accounts for automated activity, and every feature here would qualify. Your existing Poshmark sales stay visible. Full reasoning.

What about Facebook, Etsy, Whatnot, Grailed, Shopify? Listed as coming soon, none shipped, no date promised. Each integration is a standing maintenance commitment, and four solid ones beat eight flaky ones.

Can I crosspost between any two marketplaces? Yes, any supported one to any other. Support matrix.

Crossposting

Will it duplicate my listings? No. Items already on a marketplace are marked and cannot be double-posted, and retrying a job never creates a second listing.

Why is it slow? Deliberate pacing. Bursts of listing activity are what get sellers rate-limited and, on some marketplaces, suspended. More.

Can I edit a live listing from Reskale? Editing the item does not push changes out. Some marketplaces reset a listing's search position when revised, so updates are offered explicitly rather than happening silently.

What happens if a crosspost half-fails? Reskale verifies against the marketplace rather than assuming. Marking a live listing as failed would leave a listing nothing can delist. More.

Does it relist automatically on a schedule? No. Some marketplaces treat scheduled relisting as manipulation.

Selling

Does it delist automatically when something sells? Auto-Delist finds the affected items and offers to pull the siblings. Multi-quantity listings are flagged rather than acted on — you sold one of five and still have four.

Does it buy shipping labels? No. Buy them in each marketplace's own flow, where the discounted rates are. Tracking syncs back automatically.

Why do Sales and Shipments agree exactly? They read the same 90 days through the same loader. Two filters over one list, not two reconstructions.

Can I reply to buyer messages from Reskale? Yes, where the marketplace supports it. There are no automated replies, on purpose.

Account

Which plan do I need for the web dashboard? Legendary, or an active trial. Free, Starter and Pro are mobile app tiers. Plans.

Is there a free plan? Yes — 25 AI scans a month once your phone is verified, plus live eBay listings and the profit calculator. It does not expire. The web dashboard is not included.

Is there a free trial? 7 days of full Legendary access, including the web dashboard. No card required.

What happens when the trial ends? You move to the Free plan and the web dashboard becomes unavailable until you subscribe. Nothing is deleted.

What counts as a scan? One successful AI identification. Failed scans and repeat lookups served from cache do not count. The counter resets on the 1st of each month, UTC. Plans.

What happens when I run out of scans? Scanning pauses until the reset. Everything else — inventory, listings, bookkeeping — keeps working. Overage packs are planned but not purchasable yet.

Why is it cheaper on Android than iOS? Apple takes a cut of App Store subscriptions. Subscribe on the web or Android for the lower price.

How does the referral program work? $12.99 of credit — one month of Starter — when someone you referred makes their first payment. They get their first month free. No cap. More.

Privacy

Do you have my marketplace passwords? No. Never seen, never stored, never transmitted. You log in on the marketplace's own site.

Do you store my session cookies? For Mercari, Depop and Vinted, yes — encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, sent over TLS, scoped to your account, never returned by any API. That is what makes background sync possible with your browser closed. Detail.

Can the extension read my other tabs? No. It has permission for five marketplace domains and their image CDNs, and nothing else.

Is my data sold? No.

Trouble

The dashboard says the extension is missing but it is installed. Reload the Reskale tab — detection happens on page load. More.

My connection keeps expiring. Normal for Mercari, Depop and Vinted. Vinted most of all, especially with a VPN. More.

Sales are missing. Check the 90-day window, sync, check the connection, then look for a cut-off date — that is when the connection expired. More.
