Paying, changing plans, and cancelling.
Payment
Subscriptions bought on the web are handled by Stripe. Reskale does not see or store your card number — Stripe holds it, and Reskale holds a reference.
Cards, and whatever else Stripe supports in your country.
Starting a subscription
From Upgrade, or the prompt at the end of your trial.
Pick a plan, pay through Stripe's checkout, and access is granted as soon as the payment confirms.
The trial
7 days, full Legendary access, no card required to start.
You are not charged automatically at the end. The trial ends, and if you have not subscribed, the dashboard becomes unavailable until you do. You drop to the Free plan — 25 scans a month in the mobile app — and nothing is deleted.
Changing plans
Upgrade or downgrade on the web: Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Changes are prorated by Stripe — an upgrade charges the difference for the remaining period, a downgrade credits it.
Two things to know before downgrading:
- Dropping below Legendary means losing web dashboard access.
- Your scan allowance changes immediately, and your usage for the month carries over. If you have already used 400 scans this month and drop from Pro (600) to Starter (250), you are over the new limit and cannot scan again until the 1st.
See plans.
Cancelling
Cancel on the web in Settings → Billing → Manage billing, or in the Android app under Settings → Manage Subscription. Two things worth knowing:
- Access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Cancelling on day 3 of a month does not end access on day 3.
- Nothing is deleted. Your inventory, sales and books stay. If you come back, they are there.
There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
Refunds
Email support@reskale.xyz.
Refunds are handled case by case rather than by a rigid policy. If something did not work as described, say what happened — that is a different conversation from "I forgot to cancel", and both are worth having.
Failed payments
Stripe retries a failed payment over several days and emails you each time.
If it keeps failing the subscription lapses and the dashboard becomes unavailable. Update your card in Settings → Billing → Manage billing on the web and access returns immediately — your data is untouched throughout.
Invoices
Stripe sends an invoice per payment. They are also under Settings → Billing → Manage billing.
Reskale is a business expense. Log it in Bookkeeping as a recurring one so it is not missed at year end.
Mobile subscriptions
In the iPhone app you subscribe through the App Store, and in the Android app through Google Play. Those plans are managed there, not in Reskale — Apple and Google do not allow otherwise:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. The Android app's Settings → Manage Subscription opens it for you.
Already paying by card? Keep your plan — the Android app won't sell you a second one. To move it to Google Play, cancel the card plan first; once the period you paid for ends, choose a plan in the app.
App prices can be higher than on the web because Apple and Google take a cut. Subscribing on the web costs less for the same thing.
Referral credit
Credit from referrals is applied automatically to your next invoice. It stacks, has no cap, and rolls over month to month — you do not need to do anything to redeem it.
